🎨Art & Lore

Our artists-in-residence have worked for months to create art inspired by sacred fractals, Solarpunk futurism and indigenous culture.

Genesis - Vibrations

  • 3D-animated sacred fractals

  • Inspired by:

    • 5 elements that are the building blocks of everything in existence:

      • Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether

    • The sacred purity of elemental geometry

    • Ever expanding symmetry to exponentially multiply the sacredness of an object

Generation 1 - DemiGodz

    • Solarpunk style aesthetics inspiring utopian futures

    • Indigenous societies in Latin America (in collaboration with our partners Futuro Nativo)

    • Fusion of natural and shamanistic elements on the Moon, Thunder and Fire gods

It is the year 2022. A global catastrophe is on the horizon and our societies have become fragile. Natural ecosystems and human networks are on the brink of collapse. More people than ever live in cities of concrete and steel, disconnected from the earth they all come from. In those cities, greed and the belief in perpetual growth has taken over all systems of production. The values of sacrifice, compassion and unity, imparted to us from generations of ancestors, seem to be long forgotten. Mother Earth is watching over this. She is concerned.

How can she raise the vibrations for humans to realise that our ancestors hold the secret to a better future? She summons her might and all ancestral wisdom from the planet’s collective consciousness. In an act of divine creation, she compresses this information into a new medium: a rare earth metal called Niobium. She decides that there will only ever be a place where humans can find meaningful quantities of it... and this one place is called Amazônia.

Tupã - The Creator God 🌪️

The creator god Tupã was born out of the silence that illuminates everything. Thunder is his messenger and he shows his force through lightning strikes. Mother Earth calls on him with a quest: to return to earth in human form in order to raise mankind’s consciousness. She shares the rough coordinates of the Niobium reserves with him. The responsibility starts to weigh heavy on him: how will he decrypt the sacred stories contained in the Niobium? Upon landing in Amazônia he is looking for shelter behind a gigantic tree. It has been a while since he has last inhabited a human body. As he is getting used to the new height at 6 foot 3”, the forest animals are taking note. The howler monkeys are laughing at his unusual appearance. Little do they know he is their creator. Looking to connect with the great spirit for guidance on how to harness and decrypt the Niobium, Tupã loads the kuripe around his neck with a mix of ground jurema leaves and wood ashes. Phhhhhhhssssht. Tupã applies the medicine into his nose forcefully. Haux haux...His channels open.

A young jaguar and its mother noticed their creator god in vicinity. They hardly make a sound, yet he can feel their presence. His third eye is vigilant. The visions glisten: the silhouettes of both cats appear in silver metallic before his inner eye. Tupã’s cybernetic tattoo begins to pulsate in the rhythm of his heart. All the information he needed had now been downloaded. With the twilight looming, he is following both jaguars as they lead him to the largest Niobium reserve in all of Amazônia.

Jaci - The Moon Goddess 🌘

It was Tupã whom was standing in the middle of the open area. He had erected what looked like an otherworldly portal. “What on earth do you think you are doing here?”, she shouts, as she pushes him. “Stop flirting with me, Jaci. You know I wouldn’t be doing this unless I had a job to do.”, he says in what could either be excess passion, irritation or pride. “You know the power of our rituals. The frequencies from the Portal made of our sacred metal will reach the entire magnetic field of the earth. It is time to reach the masses, Jaci... the mother has said so.”

She stared deeply into his eyes and scoffs, but couldn’t argue with the message. On the lookout for animals that might need her protection, she scans the immediate surroundings and finds the two felines. “Poor thing, did this asshole over here scare you?”, she whispers in a sweet voice while caressing the jaguar cub and its mother who had led Tupã to the location. “Listen, it’s all fair play if the mother says so, but it is nighttime and this is my kingdom! So next time you transform an entire football field of jungle into fireworks, at least run it by me! You scared the shit out of everyone.”

The Sun God 🌞

The araras made themselves known as they rose from the jungle overstory. Tupã awakens slowly to the abundance of life around him, still exhausted, but kissed by the sun. “Want some?”, Guaraci pokes him with a skewer of grilled capivara and a big smile. “I didn’t know I would be seeing you this soon, father! You killed it last night, look at what you built!” Both marvel at the earthwork and the rare metal which had fused together to create a portal that was at least 50 feet tall.

It must have been at least a thousand strikes of lightning that I was casting down. I almost gave up out of exhaustion, but the great spirit told me to keep going.” The now oxidized Niobium was shining bright in magenta colors. Guaraci’s scars suddenly began pulsating and lit up in flames. ARGHHH...” He focuses on his nervous system to slow down his heart rate and control the pain. “She was here last night, wasn’t she? I can feel it”, says Guaraci. Tupã lays his hand on Guaraci’s shoulder and let’s go a concerned sigh. “Son, I told you this many times. You must forget about her, otherwise your suffering will never end...”
